Everything you need to know about comparing fragrance prices on Aurexum — how our data works, what your account unlocks, how price alerts and retailer ratings fit in, and what to expect when you buy from a third-party store.

General

Aurexum is a fragrance price comparison and market analytics platform. We track live pricing across 100+ global retailers and 100,000+ products so you can compare perfumes, colognes, and niche fragrances in one place — without opening dozens of tabs. Use search, filters, price history, deals, and discovery tools to decide when and where to buy.

Yes. Core features — search, browse, compare listings, price history, deals, and Note Finder — are free. You only need a free account for saved features such as the watchlist and price alerts. We may introduce optional paid plans in future; if we do, pricing will be shown clearly before you subscribe.
No. Aurexum is not a retailer, marketplace, or payment processor. We display aggregated pricing and link you to third-party stores. When you buy, the contract is between you and that retailer on their website.

Aurexum is operated from Australia. Our Terms of Service are governed by Australian law. If you are outside Australia, local consumer laws may also apply where they cannot be contracted out.

Retailer sites only show their own stock. Editorial fragrance sites focus on reviews and community content. Aurexum is built around live, multi-retailer price comparison: side-by-side listings, concentration-aware matching, shipping filters, price history, deals, and tools like Note Finder and price alerts — so the primary question we answer is where to buy at the best price, not what a scent smells like in a review.

Aurexum does not fulfil orders, process payments, or handle returns. If something goes wrong — a late delivery, a refund dispute, a suspected scam, or a product that is not as described — you must resolve it with the retailer (or your bank or card provider). We may delist a store based on credible reports but are not responsible for third-party conduct. See our Terms of Service for full details.

Prices & Data

Prices are refreshed daily through automated scans of every tracked retailer. Most listings you see are less than 24 hours old. Retailers can still change prices between scans, so always confirm on their checkout page before you pay.
We collect pricing information directly from retailer websites using automated scans. Our system records the listed price, product details (size, concentration, etc.), and shipping signals where available, then stores them in our database for comparison and history charts.
Several reasons: (1) time lag between our last scan and your visit; (2) flash sales or coupon codes applied only at checkout; (3) currency conversion differences; (4) shipping or duty added at checkout; (5) the retailer changed price after we scanned. The retailer’s checkout total is always the final authority.
Aurexum supports 10 display currencies: AUD, USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, NZD, SGD, JPY, HKD, and CHF. You can switch anytime from the footer selector. Signed-in users can also save a preferred currency in profile settings.
When you view prices in a currency different from the retailer’s native price, we convert using live exchange rates refreshed regularly (typically hourly). Converted figures are estimates for comparison — your card issuer or the retailer may use a slightly different rate at checkout.
We show listings based on our last scan. A listing may still appear if it was in stock when scanned but has since sold out, or if the retailer hides availability until checkout. Treat stock status as indicative only and confirm on the retailer’s site.

On product and search pages, listings are sorted by price (lowest first) so the cheapest offer is easy to find. We do not reorder results to favour higher-commission retailers. Commercial relationships, where they exist, are disclosed in our Terms of Service.

The Deals page highlights some of the largest real price drops across the catalogue over a recent period — based on tracked retailer data, not manually curated sale banners. It is a starting point for bargain hunting; individual product pages and price history give fuller context.
Price history shows how listed prices have moved across tracked retailers over time. Use it to spot dips, see whether a current price is unusually low, and decide whether to buy now or wait. Charts reflect scanned data only and cannot predict future sales or stock.

Accounts

No. Searching, browsing, comparing prices, viewing price history, and using Note Finder are available without signing in. A free account is required for the watchlist, price alerts, and saving profile preferences (country and currency) across devices.
Use Sign in or Sign up from the site header. We use secure email-based authentication. Once signed in, your watchlist, alerts, and profile settings sync to your account.
The watchlist is your personal shortlist of fragrances you are considering. Saved products appear on your profile so you can check back on prices without searching again. A free account is required.
On any product tile or product page, use the heart (bookmark) control. You must be signed in for saves to persist. To remove an item, open your profile watchlist tab and remove it from there, or toggle the heart again on the product page.
Signed-in users can set a preferred country and currency in profile settings. The site uses these defaults for shipping filters and price display where applicable, so you do not have to re-select them on every visit.

To request account deletion and removal of associated personal data, contact us via the contact page. We will process verified requests in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Price Alerts

Price alerts notify you when a tracked listing drops to a target price you set. They help you act on sales without manually checking product pages every day. Alerts require a free account.
Open a product page, use the quick-access menu (floating toolbar) or alert control on a listing, enter your target price, and save. Manage all active alerts from your profile under the price alerts tab.
Alerts run on a best-efforts basis. You may not receive one if: the price never reached your target; we had not rescanned that retailer yet; the listing was removed; email was filtered as spam; or there was a temporary system delay. Check the product page directly if a deal is time-sensitive.
No. An alert means our data showed the price at or below your threshold at scan time. Stock, coupons, and checkout totals can still differ by the time you click through. Always confirm on the retailer’s site immediately.

Retailers

Retailers are hand-picked by the Aurexum team for fragrance relevance and data quality, and supplemented by community suggestions. Before a store is added we review whether its listings can be tracked reliably and whether it serves fragrance buyers in our supported regions.
Yes. Visit the Retailers page and submit the suggestion form with the store name and URL. We review every submission. Not all suggestions are added — we prioritise stores with clear pricing, broad catalogue overlap, and stable websites.
Retailer ratings reflect subjective scores from signed-in users on factors such as trustworthiness, shipping speed, and value. They are opinions, not verified audits by Aurexum. Use them alongside price, shipping filter, and your own research before purchasing.
We review stores before listing them, but we do not guarantee legitimacy, solvency, or authenticity of every product sold. Retailers can change ownership, policies, or practices after being listed. You are responsible for deciding whether a store is safe to buy from.
The lowest listed price may come with slower shipping, no returns, grey-market stock, or higher risk. Consider shipping to your country, retailer ratings, return policy on the retailer’s site, and whether the offer looks too good to be true before you checkout.

Buying Safely

Listing a retailer on Aurexum is not a guarantee of safety, authenticity, or fit for every buyer. Research unfamiliar stores, read their policies, check community ratings, and be cautious of prices far below market norm. If an offer looks fraudulent, do not proceed and consider reporting it to us.
Prefer established retailers with clear return policies. Be wary of deep discounts on current popular releases from unknown sellers. Check batch codes and packaging on delivery, and use your retailer’s dispute process if something seems wrong. Aurexum cannot authenticate products on your behalf.
Often yes, depending on your country, order value, and retailer. Australian buyers may owe GST or customs charges on imports above relevant thresholds. US, UK, and EU rules differ. Retailers sometimes collect tax at checkout; sometimes you pay on delivery. Budget beyond the listed product price.
Confirm the exact product name, concentration, and size; the final price and currency; shipping cost and delivery time; return and refund policy; and that the retailer ships to your address. Compare against Aurexum’s listing one last time — then complete purchase on the retailer’s site only.

Features & Tools

Use the homepage search bar or open Advanced Search to query by product name, brand, or house. Filter by size, concentration, price range, and shipping destination, then sort by price or number of listings.
Note Finder lets you build a scent profile from notes you enjoy and notes you want to avoid. Aurexum matches your preferences against the catalogue and suggests fragrances worth exploring. It is a discovery aid, not a guarantee you will like every recommendation.
Yes. Use the country selector (footer or filters) to show retailers that ship to your chosen destination. This reduces noise from stores that cannot deliver to you — especially useful when comparing international prices from Australia, the US, UK, or EU.
A 50 ml EDP and a 100 ml EDT are different products with different prices. Aurexum tracks concentration and bottle size separately so you compare like-for-like listings rather than mixing incompatible offers in one view.
Collections are curated discovery lists — for example fragrances under a price threshold or the most compared products on Aurexum. They help you browse trends without running a specific search.
On product pages, a compact floating toolbar gives one-tap access to price alerts, watchlist, Note Finder, and price history without leaving the page. It is designed for fast decisions while you compare listings.

Visit the Tools page for an overview of Advanced Search, Note Finder, price alerts, watchlist, deals, and more — with links to open each feature.
