What does Nanban smell like?

Nanban starts quietly, myrrh unfolding as the dusty burn of ancient resin. Beneath it, osmanthus settles as apricot leather folded into tiny petals, while styrax drifts toward the smoky syrup of burned resin. Around it, coffee drifts as smoky bitterness under sweet spice, tea trailing bitter zest drifting through warm steam. In the end it is warm and balsamic, a resinous, herbal centre brightened by citrus and white florals.
