Absinthe begins where heliotrope does, violet light over vanilla talc drawing you in. Amberwood moves underneath as dry timber warmed by amber light, while rhubarb lingers as pink-green stems with mouthwatering acid. Toward the top, absinth reads as a bitter botanical pour with shadow and vetiver as smoky grass roots over volcanic soil. In the end it is damp and mineral, an earthy, woody core brightened by aromatic herbs and bright fruit.
