What does Betelgeuse smell like?

Betelgeuse begins where iris does, the pale rootiness of face powder drawing you in. Underneath the opening, oakmoss deepens into lichen hush pressed into bark creases, and coriander answers as a pale spice cracked from round seeds. Toward the top, osmanthus reads as petals lit by a mellow amber breeze and coffee as smoky bitterness under sweet spice. In the end it is damp and mineral, an earthy, spicy centre brightened by aromatic herbs and white florals.
