Alcools begins where lilac does, fresh blossoms under pale April light drawing you in. At the core, styrax reads as resin thick as lacquered smoke, artemisia drifting in as herbal smoke from pale wild brush. Around the edges, birch moves through as a dry bark note with silver light, while tonka bean drifts alongside as the soft bitterness of brown kernels. In the end it is warm and edible, a sweet, resinous core anchored by dry woods and aromatic herbs.
