Sarmate wears its oud openly from the start — warm wood bruised by balsamic smoke. At the core, nutmeg reads as a smooth bitter edge under cream, saffron drifting in as sunburnt spice on white rice. Toward the top, myrrh reads as amber smoke roughened by herbs and styrax as the tarry drag of sweet balsam. In the end it is warm and balsamic, a resinous, spicy core weighted with dry woods.
