Elysium Noir begins where sandalwood does, sandal cream with a tropical hush drawing you in. At the core, patchouli reads as brown earth breathing through green leaves, rose drifting in as fresh-picked roses breathing in wicker shade. Toward the top, lemon reads as fresh peel oils on warm fingertips and lavender as purple hush drifting through noon heat. In the end it is damp and mineral, an earthy, woody centre brightened by aromatic herbs and citrus — a brisk brightness with herbal poise.
