Sakura

Sakura starts quietly, violet unfolding as a dusky bloom in shaded clay light. Underneath the opening, pink pepper deepens into a dry blush of peppered citrus, and freesia answers as a bright bloom with watery fruitiness. A thread of coriander runs across — citrus lift over dry spice dust — and green notes follows as dew on stems and leafy skins. In the end it is warm and biting, a spicy, floral centre brightened by green facets and a powdery veil.
