Snowy Owl

There is a stillness at the start of Snowy Owl by Zoologist, mint reading as torn leaves cooling sugared water. Underneath, galbanum — gum-green air from split roots — meets coconut, fresh shavings falling onto warm skin. Higher up, civet threads well worn skin with musky sheen while ambrette seed opens as pear tinged musk from crushed seeds. The result is dark and skin-close, an animalic, sweet heart lifted by soft musk and aromatic herbs.
